Who is Front Porch Church for?
Front Porch Church is for everyone. No matter your age, background, ability, belief, or life experience. You are welcome here.
We believe the church is a place of belonging before anything else.
Is there an age range?
All ages are welcome at Front Porch Church. Children, teens, adults, and older adults are an important part of our community,
and we value learning and worshiping together across generations.
Is Front Porch Church accessible for people with disabilities?
Yes. Front Porch Church is an all-abilities community. People with disabilities are not just welcomed, they participate, serve,
and lead alongside others in the life of the church. If there is something specific you’d like us to know or a way we can better
support you or your family, please contact us. We’re always learning and happy to have that conversation.
What if my child or I need to move, make noise, or take breaks?
That’s okay here. Front Porch Church values interaction over perfection. Movement, sounds, questions, and breaks are part of how
people engage, and you are welcome to participate in the ways that work best for you.
What kind of church is Front Porch?
Front Porch Church is a Christian community rooted in the life and teachings of Jesus. We are not tied to a specific denomination
and seek to be a welcoming place for people from a variety of church backgrounds or none at all.
What do you believe?
We center our faith on Jesus Christ and seek to follow Him in love, hospitality, justice, and humility. We believe faith is something
that grows through worship, Scripture, prayer, and shared life together, and we welcome questions along the way.
Do I need to believe a certain way to attend?
No. You do not need to have everything figured out to belong here. Front Porch Church is a place for curiosity, exploration, and growth.
Wherever you are on your faith journey, you are welcome.
What should I wear?
Come as you are. There is no dress code at Front Porch Church. We want you to feel comfortable and at home.
What happens during a typical service?
Our gatherings follow a simple, welcoming rhythm. We begin with a brief host moment that walks through the flow of the service so everyone knows what to expect.
Early on, you’ll experience Otis & Friends, a lighthearted moment that highlights some of our community’s furry friends and reminds us of the joy of shared life.
From there, we spend time in worship through music, followed by a message from our teaching team. We also share announcements and receive an offering as part of our life together.
We close each service by holding hands and singing a benediction that is a reminder that we go out connected and sent into the week ahead.
How can I learn more or ask additional questions?
We’d love to hear from you. You can contact us through the website, talk with a greeter on Sunday, or reach out to a member of our team.
We’re always happy to connect.
